Friday Night!

ok last night was badass.

Me and Amy went to Peachtree Tavern to see the Wayne Mills Band. i didn't know what to expect but it was really fun. i'm going to have to go back sometime - i've never been to a bar/tavern type place. i mean - last weekend i went to o'charlies and had a few drinks at the bar (which was the first time i've ever been somewhere just to drink, other than the strip club...)

Actually i picked her up around 7, we got to Pero's right before 8 where we had reseverations (and glad we did - they were CRAZY at 8!) we both had strombolis - which are always sooo good :) after that it was a short like 8 min drive to the tavern. when we first arrived (we nearly drove right past it!) this guy (who we thought was a bum posing as a parking lot attendant) wanted $10 to park and we first blew him off saying we were about to leave. at the door they verified he really was the parking lot attendant so we paid the guy and went in :P

inside, i got my ass kicked in a game of 7 ball pool - 2 to 5 (yes it was 7 ball - 3 of the balls were MIA so we had to modify the rules) the cool thing too was they would hold a credit card and you could keep a tab - which was really convenient! the screwdriver i started the night out with was i swear half and half! gah it was stiff. i only had 2 screwdrivers all night but had i had 3 i would have had a harder time driving home :P

meanwhile, i did find out where the ESPN zone is - and i want to go back there! the last time i went i was in like... 10th or 11th grade :) i'm no sports buff - but upstairs are tons and tons of like arcade machines - my favorite was the 1/2 sized bowling. so if anyone wants to goto the ESPN Zone with me one day, lemme know!

hmmm.... i got really good gas mileage on the way home :) Buckhead to her house to my house took like an hour 15 avg'ing 30.8mpg over 65 miles.

so today i think i'm going to try to clean total house - not just the kitchen and living room (which both are relitively clean!) but mainly my bedroom - it's such a disaster area. my side of the bed is about 4 inches deep in popular science magazines and a few days worth of dirty clothes. the foot of the bed has piles of clean clothes overflowing clothes baskets. i have 2 more stacks of crap that i cleaned off my computer desk when i moved it out of my room. there's computer crap everywhere, and paper work that i need to file (literally stacks and stacks of paperwork!)

oh yeah. also tonight i'm going to the thrashers game! me jrr and brad are. i hope brad wants to drive cause i'm feeling lazy :P
