i started working on a picture i took in gatlinburg on my honeymoon. it's going to be a panorama similar to this.
on the top of clingman's dome i took 14 14MP pictures side by side for a near 180 degree view of the mountain tops. i compiled them into 14 separate layers in photoshop which made a 727mb PSD file :o the dimensions are currently 24504x3056. i was able to save it as a copy as a JPEG, but none of my programs other programs can handle pictures that large (i wanted to shrink and roatate it, so i could post a picture of my work in progress).
think i'll goto work and work on this on a Core2Quad with 2GB of ram, vs. my AMD 2600 with 1GB ram.... LOL.
