ok, boring day at work. i didn't do a damn thing all day. i'm sure i'll hear about it monday....

brad's a bastard :P well, it's not all his fault. like thurs out at covington ford, i parked next to an Expedition. it was sticked at $9,800. i'm like "gd, an expedition for under $10k". then yesterday i saw a Lincoln LS. THAT CAR HAS ME WANTING. i want that car. i want that car bad. i called today, they're asking like $17,900 :( i can't afford that. but it's a sweeeet looking car. nothing really loud about it. it's a low end luxery sudan. 3.9L v8 auto tranny. nothing really wild. very sensible. but omg i want it.

so me and brad go shopping today :P lol we goto one used dealership, they have crap. we goto another they 1) aren't open 2) had shit for inventory. so we goto the nissan dealership cause brad saw a WRX there. he test drvies it and says it's crap, somethign about the turbo is wore out and he was unimpressed with it. i found it sweet. also it had, what he calls, a "fart can" on it :P un-nice and loud, lol.

then he test drives a 350Z. it's a 2 seater so him and the salesman go for a ride, i make a phonecall. when he gets back i'm like "brad, gimme your keys i'll go get some food. i was starvin and it looked like he was ready to buy (and i know how long THAT takes...)

so i goto mcdonalds. the cashier looked about 15 yrs old, maybe kinda shy/ outcastish. looked nervous. the customer in front of me was acting like he owned the place, i think he used to work at a mcdonalds, so he was being cocky. and i think the reciept printer had just jammed. and to top it off, it looked like this girl had only been working there a day tops. so she was kinda wiggin' out. whatever the case, they get all that taken care of, and the girl in front of me looks about 5 or 6. she orders a cheeseburger and a small drink. the total is $2.14 she says "i don't have 14 cents" and the cashier kinda just looks like "wtf do i do?" i reach in my pocket, but i never carry any change... so i felt bad, and i hoped she wouldn' turn the girl away. finally the cashier says something to the nature of "ok, the $2 is fine" and she takes the girl's $2 and she gets her food and leaves. i order my 2 double cheeseburgers plain, brad's 2 cheeeseburgers, and 2 small drinks. my change from a $10 is like $5.60 she's done closed the drawar when i handed her a quarter back and said "put this towards that last girl's 14 cents" and the cashier just looked at me liek "omg you are an angel" or something.

i go back to the dealership and the manager haggles with brad about price, saying "the best we can do is like $670/m for 72months" and brad's liek "uhh, i got like $566/m for 72 months" so the manager is all pissed almost as he calls downstairs and says "run these numbers for me. 6% apr, $30,000 72 months. yes. ok. ok. four.. ninety.... six. ok bye." so he's pissed at brad for showing him up. then they're liek "we don't want you to drive you car home cause we already appraised the car and we don't want anything happening to it and brad's liek "well, i'll take my chances and let's just reappraise it monday" and they like "well, we'll need some colleratal to order a car for you" and brad again goes "well, when i come back monday we i'll give you something..." so we're sure they're PISSED with him, heh.

so now, i've got new car fevor all over again. the way i see it: i think i can afford $250/m. which is like a $12k car :( $15k w/ trade in. my truck's worth $5,500 if i sell it on my own, or $3,300 trade in. i just put like $600+ worth of maintance in it, so i'm want to get a few more miles out of it before i do anything... and i'm at 82k miles. i wanna trade it before i get to 100k miles. i avg like 2,500 miles a month, so tha'ts... november before i hit 95k miles. hopefully by then i'll have some saved up, got some side work going, if i can somehow play my cards right, i might even be able to pay CASH for that shit. doubt it tho :P lol

hrm.. i guy called me today, about doign some side work running cables, hooking up shit, setting up some servers, etc. he's looking for a peon with a brain. he found me :) heh. pay $200-300 for a day or 2 of work. 2 days of work would be $300. i think i'll prob do it. that'll be maybe next weekend.

hd i have a STACK of eaten smartie papers lol. i like smarties. they taste good :D

hrm. not much more. i'm in a pretty good mood tho. new car fever. pissed off that i can't get something NOW but stoked that i'll prob get something soon.
