chris gave it to me.


but it's dead.

well, my progress so far.

1 red light, error e74 - av cable error


chris has already done the towel trick a few times, now to no avail.


i took it apart.


2 red lights. overheading. i didn't have fans plugged in.

1 red light still.


i did some more crap, removed the heatsinks, etc.


i got the xbox screen for 3 seconds, the two red lights. oops, the mainboard has the heatsinks laying on gpu and processor. well, they're not touching. reassemble, and lay mainboard in metal case.

3 red lights.

i think if i keep trying i can get 4 red lights, or the thing might even spontaneously combust :)
