long story short. he traveled in canada, called verizon they said "point zero zero two cents per kilobyte" (.002 cent per kb). he was charged "point zero zero two dollars" (.002 dollars per kb). he racked up $77 is data charges. it looks like they're honoring their fuckup. it got hard to read so i'll go back to it eventually....
